ceremony aims to create a reflective experience for those who experience it. ceremony is centrally focused on entropy; the candle would have a rather small flame despite its large size, and conversely a rather slow burn time. Even though a one-off viewer of the piece may not actively see the piece changing, it changes nonetheless. Even though it could take a seemingly long time to melt away, it will eventually run out of fuel for its flame, reaching its own metaphorical heat death. Additionally it involves itself with ideas of the virtual and the real through its image being projected back onto itself.
