Linx Fong Selby
Heroes is a retrieval of my E. Asian American icons, the best and worst, from childhood memories growing up as a mixed, 5th-generation Chinese-American. This film includes personal and family footage of my grandmother Hazel Chuen Fong and an excerpt from my mother, Linda Jade Fong’s 1970’s film from the Banff Center Archives as well as borrowed footage of cultural figures and characters.
