The project I tried was a photographic collage. I printed many photographs that represent the collective unconscious. Growing up these images would influence many people to become nationalists
Parrots unconsciously repeat and convey the message they receive. Ironically, I find it
also true for many people living or pretending in the society especially in China. Independent thinking and independent personalities are rare and valuable.
I cut the images up and rearrange them. Then I use them and other materials to make
three-dimensional collages in the shape of parrots. I hope to express my reflections and thoughts
