School of Theater – MFA 1 – Lighting Design

I wanted to dedicate time to exploring and experimenting with how light travels through mediums other than air. I am investigating how we perceive water and light, and what their relationship can reveal about how light operates in the world around us. I am looking to evoke a feeling of serenity, bliss, and enchantment, while connecting us to water and light’s perpetual ritual dance. These two essential elements of life will always be interconnected and interdependent.
