Nobody Lives in Wyoming is an immersive eerie daydream that alludes to the nostalgia within the uncanny and the mundane. The piece contains archive video footage from three separate abandoned places. A home, a highway of gas stations, and a hotel. The sentimentality of the detritus is contained alongside a score of ambient sounds that roam through reality – creating an apocryphal landscape for each video. The installation offers an interactive experience for viewers to imagine their story, dark fantasy, and escapism.
