The original lyrics and music she creates for Precipice is influenced by metal, shoegaze, alternative, & heavier rock genres. The compositions are infused with these styles and are blended together to create a unique, dreamy, yet dark sounds. Oscillation sounds emanate from baritone guitar, bass, electric guitar and saxophone. Additionally, synth, and drums accentuate the pulsation beat of the vibrational experience. The lyrics expressed vocally tell a story however, the music sets the scene by enveloping the environment into a crescendo felt by the body, and mind. The listener experiences through senses and is transported into the music to an alternate state of consciousness. Olivia’s vocal timbre and delivery of lyrics are deep, exploratory, glimpses of her innermost thoughts about unique perplexities of life’s meanings and realities.
